Caretaker (Part Time)

Job Summary:

The Caretaker (Part Time) will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Corporate properties. This includes performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping activities, providing customer service, and assisting with minor maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
  • Collect and dispose of recycling materials and garbage.
  • Provide disinfection and sanitizing services to all washrooms and public areas.
  • Assist with outdoor maintenance tasks, including litter picking and snow removal.
  • Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment, such as scrubbing machines and buffing machines.
  • Provide customer service to all customers, tenants, and end-users of Corporate properties.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks, including setting up and taking down tables and chairs for meeting rooms.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • Over six (6) months, up to and including one (1) year experience performing cleaning in an office environment and operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to work variable scheduled shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Permanent residency in Brampton.

Selection Criteria:

  • Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
