About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Bankhead Restaurant and Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our discerning guests.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all food meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to help staff members improve their skills and advance in their careers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
