Job Summary

A highly skilled Machinist/Tool and Die Maker with 5+ years of experience is required to repair machine tools, set up production equipment, and maintain precision measuring instruments. Key responsibilities include:

Machine Operation and Maintenance:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Repair machine tools and parts
  • Set up and adjust production equipment/tools
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
Quality Control:
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
Certifications and Education:
  • Machinist Trade Certification
  • Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
