Job Title: Precision MachinistSalary: $80,000 - $110,000 per yearJob Description:Machining OperationsWe are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join our team as a precision machinist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture high-precision components and parts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining principles and practices, including reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables. They will also be skilled in setting up and adjusting production machinery, maintaining inspection records, and documenting deviations from specifications and tolerances.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
The successful candidate will hold a trade certification as a machinist or tool and die maker, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. A strong educational background, including college or CEGEP education, is highly valued.
