As a key member of the Training Department at Agnico Eagle, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our operations. Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering training programs related to Health & Safety, equipment, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily morning meetings with the training team to discuss ongoing projects and goals.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote Health & Safety, equipment operation, and process knowledge.
  • Collaborate with departments to plan and organize employee training and evaluations.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Assist with evaluations of mine operators, including candidate selection, class change, and employee promotion.
  • Verify, apply, and develop training content based on procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Work in accordance with established training standards.
  • Track and update employee training data using various training platforms.
  • Document and share information with cross-shift and supervisor teams.

Requirements:

  • Heavy equipment operator experience on Loader, Excavator, Dozer, Grader, and Front Shovel.
  • 5-10 years of production equipment operator experience.
  • Driver's License Class 1 or equivalent (Tractor Trailer) is considered an asset.
  • Experience as a Trainer in a mining, industrial, or construction environment is considered an asset.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Language: English is the official working language at Meadowbank Complex.
