As a Senior Collateral Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities
  1. Providing exceptional customer service and setting examples for the team to follow.
  2. Maintaining positive working relationships with all stakeholders and ensuring prompt resolution of collateral issues.
  3. Serving as a point of reference for team members on collateral management processes and procedures.
  4. Conducting regular workflow monitoring to ensure timely action and responses to issues that arise.
  5. Identifying operational inefficiencies, risks, and problems within the team.
  6. Developing and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Coordinating with senior management to discuss and implement process improvements.
  8. Managing and monitoring funding at all depositories.
  9. Acting as a change agent to introduce systemic changes or enhancements to improve processes.
  10. Ensuring adherence to securities lending collateral guidelines to prevent risk exposure.
  11. Providing support to senior management for project-type activities that require established procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong grasp of principles for Collateral Operations Systems, Arrow Blotters, CDS, DTC, Tri-Party platforms, and various lending platforms.
  • Previous people management experience required.
  • General knowledge of Securities Industry conventions, procedures, and related internal policies and procedures.
  • Complete understanding of all regulatory reporting requirements.
