Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mine site, ensuring that production quotas and procedures are met while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations and make recommendations for improvement
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Advise senior management on operational matters
  • Recommend operational changes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and production targets
  • Determine the adequacy of personnel, equipment, and technologies used for operations
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in mine operations or a related field
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset
