Key Responsibilities

The Plant Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5-6 dock employees tasked with unloading all inbound trucks and staging tires within our processing facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of dock employees, ensuring efficient unloading and staging of tires.
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with plant operations.
  • Verifying and completing required documentation and reports.
  • Promoting a safe and healthy work environment for the team.
  • Submitting reports on inbound tire volumes and other data to management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a warehouse industry is preferred.
  • Experience in warehousing, with a license to operate a forklift is an asset.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver tires (up to 30 pounds) and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and Scale Manager software is an asset.
