Key Responsibilities
  • Direct project design and construction plan production on large design-build transportation assignments.
  • Lead, develop, and clearly convey track design into engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Independently lead track design efforts to produce quality construction documents.
  • Work closely with project leadership and other key disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and enhance project management skills and serve as a mentor to junior-level engineering and design staff.
  • Uphold engineering ethics and standards of conduct.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in track design.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Current Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario.
  • Past track design role on large multi-discipline Design Build project.
  • Strong technical writing, computer, and communications skills.
