Job Description

**Solution Designer, E-commerce**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead - Solution Designer to join our team at JDI IT. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, and selecting information system solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organization in leveraging emerging technology and utilize knowledge of IT solutions to drive organizational change and support business process design.
  • Understand and support software architecture design and collaborate with the development team to develop solutions.
  • Estimate costs and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development, and support.
  • Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to develop high-level project schedule resource plans for implementation projects.
  • Provide current, transition, and future state artifacts for designed solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years' experience in a development or technical lead role.
  • Experience providing technical direction to less experienced team members.
  • Experience working in enterprise architecture/solution design in a diverse IT environment.
  • Experience creating design documents for solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and Cloud.
  • Good understanding of architecting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of web application architecture, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Microsoft Certified & Azure Solutions Architect.
