About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Wayne Hanlon Incorporated. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Estimation: Estimate the cost of projects and prepare detailed specifications.
  • Design Development: Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of space.
  • Design Implementation: Develop plans, elevations, cross sections, and detailed drawings.
  • Material Selection: Advise on the selection of colours, finishes, and materials, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and AutoCAD.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organization, and a team player attitude.
