Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

* Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working effectively
* Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties
* Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date
* Order merchandise and ensure that it is delivered to the store in a timely manner
* Authorize return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently
* Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their duties and responsibilities
* Sell merchandise and ensure that all sales are processed accurately and efficiently
* Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to ensure that the store is operating effectively
* Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
* Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that all merchandise is easily accessible
* Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that they are working effectively

Requirements:

* 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Bondable and able to pass a criminal record check
* Work Language: English
* Hours: 32 hours per week
