About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
  • Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish and communicate work schedules to ensure effective team management and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments, promoting a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related role, or equivalent experience.
