Landscape Labourer

Cedar Springs Landscape Group is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and pruners.
  • Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control, and plant and move trees as required.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
