About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Cedar Springs Landscape Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, ensuring high-quality results and attention to detail.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing environment.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks to ensure our outdoor spaces look their best.
  • Rake and collect refuse, removing litter and garbage to keep our areas clean and safe.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed to support our landscaping projects.
  • Lay sod or seed to create lush, vibrant lawns and gardens.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control, ensuring safe passage for our clients and staff.
  • Plant and move trees, requiring a combination of physical strength and technical expertise.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be handling heavy loads and working in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on client satisfaction and reliability.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Organized and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
