Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

Mama's Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize restaurant budgets to maximize profits
  • Develop and implement effective menu pricing strategies
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and staffing
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and other relevant legislation
  • Balance cash and complete financial reports, including balance sheets and cash reports
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
