The Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager - Technology Enablement, this role is responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide infrastructure solutions that meet their needs.
- Lead infrastructure-related projects and manage the implementation process.
- Design, engineer, implement, and maintain technology solutions in collaboration with the infrastructure team, stakeholders, and third parties.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, system changes, design, and specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive system monitoring and analysis of existing infrastructure systems to identify areas of improvement, potential risks, and future scalability needs.
- Develop infrastructure strategies, roadmaps, and architectural designs that align with business objectives.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, troubleshoot system failures, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science (or related field) or equivalent job experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Comprehensive knowledge in various infrastructure technologies including networking, storage systems, virtualization technologies, and servers.
- Proficiency in operating systems, databases, cloud computing, and authentication systems.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and their integration.
- Experience in project management.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial.
- Attention to detail, effective communication abilities, service-oriented, and good interpersonal skills.
- Shift rotation and out-of-office support will be required.
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and responsiveness in completing tasks.
