Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our food preparation and service team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 3-4 people.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.

Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Personal Suitability: Flexibility and team player skills are essential for this role.
