We are seeking a highly skilled Geographic Information Systems Specialist to join our team at A&F Di Carlo Construction Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating maps and related graphs and charts, planning map content, format, and design, and compiling required data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate maps and related graphs and charts using geographic information system (GIS) software
  • Plan and design map content, format, and layout
  • Compile data from aerial photographs, survey notes, records, reports, and other maps
  • Maintain and manage digital databases
  • Process data to conduct basic analyses of trends
  • Write specifications and technical reports
  • Apply quality control procedures
  • Inspect final compositions
  • Perform data entry and verification
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in GIS mapping and data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, computer-aided design (CAD), and database management
  • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Ability to operate GPS and other navigation equipment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
