Key Responsibilities
  • Generate high-quality maps and related graphs and charts using GIS software.
  • Plan and design map content, format, and layout, and compile required data from various sources.
  • Maintain and manage digital databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Process data to conduct basic analyses of trends and patterns.
  • Write specifications and technical reports to document findings and recommendations.
  • Apply quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of GIS software, including SQL, CAD, and database management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work in a fast-paced office environment.
