Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist Operations Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical interventions, document, and bill as appropriate
  • Perform technical, therapeutic, and electronic MAR checks of medication entries, ensuring detailed documentation in accordance with professional and legal requirements
  • Practice pharmacy within the College's Scope of Practice and guidelines for providing pharmaceutical care
  • Ensure narcotics are properly received and recorded at the dispensary, participating in cycle counting and reconciling of inventory as necessary
  • Assist in ensuring timely and accurate completion of third-party processing, billing, re-submissions, and reporting
  • Train and supervise dispensary staff as required
Requirements
  • Must be licensed in Part A of the Ontario College of Pharmacists register and in good standing
  • Must be available to cover on-call services after hours on a scheduled rotational basis as required
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Pharmacist in a long-term care, retail, and/or hospital pharmacy setting
