Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and transformation through the development of new accounting processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the accounting function in areas such as journal entry preparation, variance analysis, and financial statement review
  • Assist with the monthly and year-end close, including the production of various financial reports for senior management
  • Respond to inquiries from management, auditors, and regulatory agencies regarding accounting policies and procedures
  • Drive risk mitigation activities to identify and address control risks that impact accounting processes
  • Evaluate and implement new accounting-related processes to address evolving business needs
  • Work closely with business unit finance staff to identify new initiatives and develop processes for these matters
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA required)
  • Masters or University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with progressively more advanced accounting, financial analysis, and operations work required
  • Thorough understanding of IFRS and proficiency in financial statement analysis
  • Prior experience in a public accounting or accounting role
  • Experience in asset management and wealth industry is a strong asset
