Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager

Fidelity Canada is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of new accounting processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with business unit finance staff to identify and address accounting implications of new initiatives and business activities
  • Drive risk mitigation activities to uncover and address control risks that impact accounting processes
  • Develop and implement improved financial reporting processes and systems
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to management and auditors
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA required)
  • Masters or University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with progressively more advanced accounting, financial analysis and operations work required
  • Thorough understanding of IFRS and proficiency in financial statement analysis
  • Prior experience in a public accounting or accounting role
