Fidelity Canada is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for leading the corporate accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the corporate accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting processes and controls to support business growth and changes.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage intercompany reporting, including oversight of services from other Fidelity companies.
- Lead the accounting needs of the Canadian Joint Venture structure, including financial reporting and monthly close activities.
- University degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
- CPA/CA or equivalent designation required.
- Professional experience in a Big 4 firm or financial services industry preferred.
- Prior people management skills required.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices.
