About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Sunbury Transport Limited. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and safety.
  • Logistics: Manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence, and Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience as a Truck Driver, with a strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Communication: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
