About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Solutions Developer to join our team as a Senior Information Systems Business Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to test and validate user interfaces against accessibility requirements and provide expert guidance on the effective technical implementation of digital accessibility requirements in client systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Set Definition – Collaborate with clients to determine the boundaries of the testing environment and identify a representative test set of user interface components found in the client's system.
  • Testing – Conduct thorough testing of client systems against specific manual tests and assistive technology tools, documenting and submitting test results into AMP.
  • Reporting – Deliver testing results to clients, participate in conference calls, and engage in follow-up discussions to create a roadmap for improving the accessibility and usability of client IT systems.
  • Technical Consultation – Provide expert guidance to clients on the proper methods for implementing digital accessibility in systems, encompassing web, mobile, hardware, and document systems.
  • Business Process Consultation – Collaborate with clients to develop process implementation approaches for accessibility within their environments.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, integrating, and implementing information systems business solutions.
  • Conducting business and technical studies, when feasible.
  • Providing advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security, and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Technical Experience – A strong understanding of web development technologies and their impact on user experience, with experience in developing user interfaces and PDF documents.
  • Communicative – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
  • Testing Focus – A keen interest in testing interfaces and validating compliance with technical requirements, with experience in testing web-based interfaces for accessibility.
  • Organized and Disciplined – A high level of discipline and a focus on execution, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellence Focused – A commitment to delivering high-quality work and a focus on meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Master's Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Accessibility knowledge is highly desirable.

Certification/Credentials a PLUS:

  • IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).
  • Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification.
