Accounts Receivable Specialist

Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our accounts receivable function. Your primary focus will be on collecting payments from customers, resolving payment issues, and ensuring timely solutions. You will also be responsible for preparing and sending account statements, reconciling customer accounts, and accurately posting payments to customer accounts. Additionally, you will handle credit checks for internal staff on shipments to assess customer creditworthiness. To be successful in this role, you will need to have 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or full cycle accounting duties, with a strong ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines. Some knowledge of the transportation and/or customs brokerage industry would be an asset.
