Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at 9236597 CANADA INC. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Payments: Scan items, calculate total payment, and receive payment for goods or services.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, provide assistance, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that all merchandise is properly wrapped or placed in bags.
  • Foreign Currency Exchange: Calculate foreign currency exchange and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, and a permanent position with 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
