Key Responsibilities:
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring compliance with hotel standards and regulations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and services.
  • Client Relations: Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities, ensuring a positive and mutually beneficial experience.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring the hotel's financial stability.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans to drive hotel growth and success.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
