Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Helper to join our team at AXIS MECHANICAL LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various tasks related to plumbing, construction, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on tasks
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris
  • Perform routine maintenance work and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
