About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber Helper to join our team at M & P Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our plumbers and construction teams in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Plumbers: Provide support to our plumbers in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as assisting with tasks such as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials.
  • Construction Support: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and help with tasks such as leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, clean and pile salvaged materials, and assist with tasks such as cleaning up chemical spills and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Team Support: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
