We are seeking a highly skilled Character Animator to join our team at Sphere. As a key member of our animation department, you will be responsible for bringing characters to life in 2D animated series.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a degree in animation art or a related field and have experience working on a 2D animated series. You will be proficient in Toon Boom Harmony and have strong technical skills in 2D animation. In addition, you will possess excellent collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animate cutout scenes while applying the principles of staging, timing, acting, and posing.
  • Rectify, adjust, and reanimate scenes according to client and production requests.
  • Manage and produce quality animated frames within established schedules.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor to resolve complex ideas.
Requirements
  • Degree in animation art or equivalent experience.
  • Working experience on a 2D animated series.
  • Good knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony and technical basis in 2D animation.
  • Collaborative and communication skills: encourage teamwork by sharing your knowledge and leadership abilities.
Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
