Senior Risk Model Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Risk Model Analyst to join our Model Risk Management team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing the inventory of the Bank's models and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Model Inventory Management: Identify, record, and version all models deployed in the organization to ensure tracking of all actions performed on them.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with model lifecycle stakeholders to explain regulatory and internal requirements for maintaining a central inventory of models.
- Process Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to optimize inventory collection and documentation processes.
- IT Application Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the Model Management Application, including maintenance, updates, and changes needed to meet user needs.
- Information Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of documented information and perform regular checks to identify inconsistencies.
- User Support: Provide front-line support to teams using the application by resolving technical issues and answering questions.
- Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation and inventory user guides, and organize training sessions for users as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze and summarize data on models and the risks associated with their use, and develop dashboards to support the preparation and reporting of information on models.
The Model Validation and Model Risk Management Group at National Bank is responsible for identifying, measuring, and managing model risks across the Bank. We are a dynamic and detail-oriented team that values collaboration and adaptability.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or master's degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, proficiency in a programming language such as Python, and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Analytical skills, detail-oriented approach, ability to develop solutions to complex problems, and experience with business analysis, process analysis, application management, and/or as a Process or Product Owner.
