Job Title: Senior Risk Model Analyst

At National Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Model Analyst to join our Enterprise-Wide Risk Management team. As a key member of our Model Validation and Model Risk Management Group, you will play a critical role in identifying, measuring, and managing model risks across the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, support, and optimize the inventory of the Bank's models and systems.
  • Work closely with model lifecycle stakeholders to explain regulatory and internal requirements for maintaining a central inventory of models.
  • Propose and implement improvements to optimize inventory collection and documentation processes.
  • Collaborate with all teams involved in the model lifecycle to ensure information is updated in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of the Model Management Application, including maintenance, updates, and changes.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of documented information and carry out regular checks to identify any inconsistencies.
  • Provide front-line support to teams who use the application by resolving technical issues and answering questions.
  • Develop dashboards and support the preparation and reporting of information on models based on requests from committees and senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python.
  • Analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Organization, time management, and project management skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
