Retail Store Supervisor

HASTY MARKET is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to lead our sales floor team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience while maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Order merchandise to meet customer demand and maintain a well-stocked sales floor
- Authorize return of merchandise to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive store image
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs
- Sell merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure a smooth and efficient sales floor operation
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 30 to 35 hours per week
