Job Title: Associate Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Advisor to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities Inc. As an Associate Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our Wealth Advisors in delivering exceptional client service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects, including preparing documentation and executing post-meeting work.
  • Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details, liaising with various departments as needed.
  • Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable for follow-up, as required.
  • Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
  • Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.
  • Co-manage client acquisition pipeline (prospects / leads) and work with advisory team to close new opportunities.
  • Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management.
  • Support advisory team and client through the Wealth Management process, gathering relevant information, coordinating activities with Wealth Management specialists, tracking progress, and following up.
Requirements:
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).
  • University degree.
  • A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
