Supervise Commercial Construction Projects to Success

As a Site Supervisor at First Onsite, you will oversee commercial construction projects and ensure their successful completion. With a keen sense of urgency and a positive attitude, you will coordinate activities, resources, and equipment to guarantee a smooth project execution.

You will manage multiple sites, juggling administrative tasks with on-site supervision. Your leadership skills will be crucial in monitoring your team's efficiency, reviewing and authorizing timesheets, and ensuring every aspect of the project aligns with the required scope.

Reporting outcomes to the Operations Manager, you will take pride in knowing your efforts are crucial to the success of First Onsite. This is a role where you will lead teams, ensure quality, and drive success in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple sites and coordinate activities, resources, and equipment
  • Monitor team efficiency and review/authorize timesheets
  • Ensure project scope alignment and quality
  • Report outcomes to the Operations Manager

Requirements:

  • Strong experience and knowledge in emergency mitigation and restoration processes
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/foreman role within the restoration, emergency, or related industry
  • In-depth understanding of reconstruction practices for properties affected by water, wind, mold, fire, and vandalism damage
  • Knowledge of Canadian building codes and related electrical, plumbing, or mechanical regulations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Xactimate is an asset
  • Basic accounting skills, including invoicing, billing, and general math
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a commitment to customer service excellence
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces
