Job Title: Pastry Cook

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Restaurant ICHI GO ICHI E. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, desserts, and breads.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and breads to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of pastry-making techniques and ingredients.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
