Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Conestoga Contracting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to meet project demands and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Organize and coordinate the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, including the selection of materials and equipment.
  • Schedule work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet project deadlines.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring budgetary constraints are met.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, including the installation of irrigation systems and other features.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure projects are completed according to specifications.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
