Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop process engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams, energy and material balances, and equipment sizing.
  • Participate in project review meetings and client meetings as required.
  • Maintain interfaces with all disciplines and ensure that requirements of other disciplines and projects are catered to.
  • Establish and maintain interfaces and a positive relationship with the client and all other external parties.
  • Promote the use of company processes, tools, and procedures.
  • Achieve productivity, quality, and other performance-related goals.
Requirements:
  • Completed post-secondary education and/or combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years' experience as a Process Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in gas processing or Energy Transition projects.
  • EIT or Registered Professional Engineer in Alberta or eligible for registration.
Skills:
  • Proficient in process engineering tools and methods, including Aspen HYSYS Suites, Flarenet, and hydraulic calculations.
  • Proficient in developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), energy and material balances, equipment sizing, and system hydraulics.
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of process engineering aspects of Oil & Gas industries, with knowledge of CCS and green hydrogen productions an asset.
