Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Clerks Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our stockroom and ensuring that our inventory is accurately managed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Supervise and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurately recorded and that inventory is properly maintained.
  • Merchandise Returns: Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Work Environment

As a Stock Clerks Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that inventory is accurately managed.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or inventory management role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
