We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer/Scientist/Tech Officer to join our Inspection Technology & Development team in the Advanced Inspection & Maintenance division at Ontario Power Generation (OPG).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide technical evaluations and advice, solve complex problems, and coordinate work in multi-disciplinary teams to support the operation of our power generation facilities. They will lead projects, develop work plans, and track execution to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams on fuel channel NDE projects
  • Lead and coordinate project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with field teams to plan and execute testing
  • Provide input to committees and task forces on technical matters
Requirements:
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Civil)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the designated discipline
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in fuel channel NDE
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
