Key Requirements:

  • Valid class five (5) driver's license.
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Electrical or Instrumentation Certification or related Engineering Degree.
  • 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized, industrial setting.
  • Experience in developing a high-performance team.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, P&Id's, loop drawings, programming logic, and automation controls.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical installations with understanding of maintenance best practices.
  • Understanding of industrial controls including PLC, DCS, and Scada Systems.
  • Understanding of UPS systems, components, and methods of operation.
  • Understanding of VFD systems, applications, programming, and fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of networking for Modbus (RS485), Ethernet TCP/IP, HART, Wireless communications.
  • Troubleshooting experience with complex instrument and electrical systems with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in operating maintenance CMMS systems.
