Overview of the Role:

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for providing support, organization, and order to the maintenance team, ensuring the reliability and predictability of our equipment and processes. This role will involve preparing plans for preventive and predictive maintenance, monitoring work order backlogs, and analyzing technical downtime to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare plans for preventive and predictive maintenance, focusing on reliability and predictability of failure through matrices.
  • Ensure accurate information, including equipment lists and bills of materials, are entered into the CMMS system.
  • Monitor work order backlogs and schedule backlog work in a timely manner to maintain a reasonable level.
  • Analyze technical downtime daily and provide feedback to the Maintenance Manager, identifying significant trends and potential issues.
  • Utilize maintenance reliability tools and calculations to determine failure rates, downtime, and trend occurrences.
  • Coordinate labor resources, equipment, parts, and materials to support maintenance functions.
  • Ensure cost control of maintenance activities and accuracy of PM/WO data.
  • Produce standard reports as required, including equipment repair history and maintenance KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Reliability focused certification or asset management certification (e.g., CMRP, CRE, AMP, MMP).
  • High level of computer expertise and competence.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong mechanical or electrical skills.
  • Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
