Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to train and supervise staff members.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and Cook Complete Meals or Individual Dishes and Foods: Develop menus, manage inventory, and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Safety Standards: Ensure all kitchen areas are clean, sanitized, and free from hazards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise Staff and Train New Employees: Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to meet operational needs and improve productivity.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Order and maintain inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas: Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain standards.
  • Develop and Implement Operational Strategies: Analyze performance data, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives, drive innovation, and improve overall guest experience.
  • Schedule and Manage Schedules: Create schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak periods and adjust as needed to meet changing demands.
  • Manage Security and Safety Procedures: Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols, including basic security clearance.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations: Assess employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development goals.


Requirements

To be successful as a Kitchen Operations Manager at Fresh Burrito, you'll need:



  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Will train candidates with no prior experience.
