Department Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at IGA. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and overseeing the daily operations of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track stock, and ensure that products are properly stocked and displayed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the department, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and coach team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
Requirements:
- 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a management role.
- High school diploma or college degree.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
