Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Groupe RP. as a key member of our retail operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day activities of the department, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality customer service.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase operational efficiency.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Manage store visual merchandising, including creating visually appealing displays and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Collaborate with the buying team to select and purchase merchandise that meets the company's quality and pricing standards.
- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, customer service, and sales practices.
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company standards and identify areas for improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college diploma or higher an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a department store or similar environment.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions.
