Job Summary:

FCT is searching for an individual contractor to fulfill the role of Commissioner of Deeds in various areas of Prince Edward Island. Reporting to the Business Process Management team, you will be required to meet with lenders/customers, witness and certify the validity of signatures on mortgage and legal documents, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with Lenders/customers at their Branch
  • Witness and certify the validity of signatures on all mortgage and legal documents
  • Ensure a positive customer service experience

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Very strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Reliable email/cell phone access
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, available days, evenings and weekends
