About the Role

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote cultural sensitivity and inclusion within our organization. This will involve working closely with Indigenous Peoples, Employee Relations teams, and other stakeholders to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote cultural sensitivity and inclusion within Scotiabank
  • Work closely with Indigenous Peoples, Employee Relations teams, and other stakeholders to create a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues related to Indigenous Peoples
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on cultural sensitivity and inclusion
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
