As the right-hand person to our Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's narrative and employee experience, directly supporting the overall business strategy.

We're looking for a seasoned communications expert with a passion for storytelling, significant experience in issues and stakeholder management, and a proven ability to build strong relationships. You'll be responsible for developing and building on a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. This includes bringing a field-first and operations mindset to managing outcomes in a complex and matrixed organization, communicating effectively during periods of change to minimize disruption and maintain stakeholder trust, and building and maintaining positive media relations and public relations crises to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely coverage of the company. You'll also be responsible for protecting the company's reputation by proactively addressing key issues and promoting positive storytelling, leading a team of communications professionals, and fostering an inclusive culture that reflects the company's diversity and values. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and build on a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Bring a field-first and operations mindset to managing outcomes in a complex and matrixed organization.
  3. Communicate effectively during periods of change to minimize disruption and maintain stakeholder trust.
  4. Build and maintain positive media relations and public relations crises to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely coverage of the company.
  5. Protect the company's reputation by proactively addressing key issues and promoting positive storytelling.
  6. Lead a team of communications professionals, providing guidance, direction, and mentorship while fostering an inclusive culture that reflects the company's diversity and values.

  1. You are an experienced leader within Communications/PR/Marketing and have a passion for sharing stories of the company's business and values through various channels.
  2. Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent work experience.
  3. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience preferably in a matrixed organization.
  4. Strong presentation, writing, and content writing skills.
  5. Proven ability to think strategically and drive results-oriented initiatives through complexity.
  6. Understand and navigate public policy issues that impact the company's operations or reputation.
